TutorPrep's Response to COVID-19

By now, you have undoubtedly heard about the new coronavirus strain, COVID-19. We want to assure you that we are not taking the matter lightly. On the evening of February 26th, 2020, the founder and manager of TutorPrep held a meeting with the express purpose of putting together a contingency plan in case COVID-19 became an issue. The new virus had just been reported to have reached the US, and it was clear that it could be disruptive.

As we work with children and families, we believe it is paramount to constantly be thinking of safety measures. Not only do we value the trust we are given, we sincerely care about each student we work with. In light of these relationships, all TutorPrep tutors were educated on keeping healthy and clean despite the high contagiousness of the virus. We have continued to monitor the situation as well as the health status of our tutors, and we have offered training in methods of online tutoring to limit exposure and follow social distancing guidelines suggested by the WHO and CDC.

We invite you to watch the video below. It was made by some of our tutors in an effort to inform students on a few methods they can use to stay healthy. It also lists some ways students can continue to work together with their tutors to push their education forward. These ways include using programs like Zoom, Facetime, Skype, and Idroo. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you would like to have answered.
