July 3 - July 6
Red, White, and... Chartreuse?
During this week, we explored color and light! Prisms, paint, and picture-taking were of particular interest in our daily exploration. We learned about what makes our colors colorful or... sometimes invisible! We combined colors to make new ones and even bent and manipulated rays of light from the sun!
July 10 - July 13
Nature Explorers
This week, our adventurers had to pack a little extra curiosity and tenacity as we went on nature walks and explored what we thought we know about our environment. Both in our writing, and in Ms. Zerambo's natural science experiments.
July 17 - July 20
Magical Inventions
Magic aficionados assemble! This week we blurred the lines of what seems possible. Illusory tricks and sleight of hand were some of the things campers grew to understand much better. With a little extra practice, they were even able to take some magic home too!
July 24 - July 27
Boom, Snap, Pop! Becoming a Mad Scientist
This week we took a deep dive into unbelievable scientific phenomena through crazy chemical manipulations!
We were even able to come up with our own sci-fi stories as well. The results were sure ... EXPLOSIVE!
